Best Paper
Each year the CASCON Program Committee chooses the Best Paper from those submitted to receive an award. Papers are nominated by members of the program committee and the final decisions are made by an awards subcommittee formed by the program chairs. All papers are eligible to be nominated for Best Paper, and all authors of the best paper award receive a prize.
Best Student Paper Awards
Each year the CASCON Program Committee chooses the Best Student paper to receive an award. Only student papers are eligible to be nominated for Best Student Paper. Student papers can have multiple authors (students and non-students) as long as the work (research and/or experience) that the paper reports was done by the student(s), the paper is primarily authored by the student(s), and the student(s) are listed as first author(s). Only the student author(s) of the Best Student Paper award receive a prize. The student author(s) must have been students at the time the work was carried out.
